Subject: Bizness Apps raises angel round from Chris Friedland and Robert Strazzarino

Hey Robin,

Just wanted to say Happy Thanksgiving. See below.

You covered our start up, Bizness Apps, exactly 2 years ago on Thanksgiving. We've since grown from a couple thousand in MRR to nearly $500,000/MRR in just two years. It's been a wild ride to say the least.

So thanks man, I'm thankful for guys like you that spend your days giving the little guys a spark to start a fire and helping startups grow into real companies with millions in revenue.

On behalf of the entire team at Bizness Apps, we hope you have a great holiday weekend. 🙂

Hey TechCrunch,

Check out Bizness Apps.

Check out this link for more information on the investment deal.

Were entering the crowded space of do-it-yourself iPhone app makers but with a more hands on approach for businesses.

We'll create any business an iPhone app from start to finish for $39 a month. Our experience has shown that small businesses don't have time to learn a do-it-yourself iPhone app platform so we take the initiative and set up their app completely free of charge.

After creating an app for a business, we give them the tools to maintain their app themselves and teach them how to use our platform.

Wanna see me (and Jaan) dance … as a 6-meter tall holographic statue? You’re in luck.

This was recorded a while ago, but with all the traveling from the past two months, I’m late to the party.

Anyway, Belgian carrier BASE invited me to get myself a 6-meter tall holographic statue in Brussels during the Nuit Blanche to celebrate the launch of a new tariff plan for youngsters that comes with a free Spotify premium account.

I took them up on the opportunity because I wanted to see how that would work technically, and wasn’t disappointed.

I danced like an idiot, of course, but at least I got Jaan in there as well.

I thought the effects were super cool, but it’s a shame the video doesn’t really reflect how impressive it was to see it 6 meters tall in real life.

Also too bad you can’t see that I’m wearing my Reddit t-shirt 🙂

PS: you can check out more statues on Facebook here.
